Develop strength and balance in Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance. You will gain confidence, stability and improve coordination and mobility in a fun and supportive environment. Resistance training is included to improve strength. This program is based on the evidence-based program, developed by Dr. Fuzhong Li at the Oregon Research Institute, designed for older adults and people with balance disorders, who can walk easily with or without assistive devices. This program meets twice a week for eight weeks.

This 16 session class series will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays October 23 - December 20, 2018. There will be no class the week of Thanksgiving.
The class sessions will be held at the Body Works fitness center located on the Providence Portland Medical Center (PPMC) campus.
