Develop strength and balance in Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance. You will gain confidence, stability and improve coordination and mobility in a fun and supportive environment. Resistance training is included to improve strength. This program is based on the evidence-based program, developed by Dr. Fuzhong Li at the Oregon Research Institute, designed for older adults and people with balance disorders, who can walk easily with or without assistive devices. This program meets twice a week for eight weeks.

This 16-session class series will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays August 22-October 12, 2017.
The class sessions will be held in The Well, at Basecamp, Cardiac Wellness + Prevention Center, located on the first floor of the Providence Mother Joseph Plaza, on the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center Campus.
