Restorative yoga provides a way to channel excess physical, mental and emotional energy. This is the perfect class for those who are looking to deeply relax, disconnect from your busy daily life and melt away stress. The restorative practice aims to soothe your nervous system and help mitigate the effects of the regular fight-or-flight stress response that can be damaging to your well-being. This practice encourages mindfulness and works to center the breath and body, leading toward a healing and recuperative experience. The use of restful postures along with various props, will help to fully support the body to feel safe and nurtured.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class time as late arrivals are disruptive to this deeply restorative practice.
RECOMMENDED LEVEL: Beginner - Advanced
SPECIAL CLASS NOTES: Participants need to be able to safely move between standing and the mat to fully participate in this class.
