NATIONAL WEAR RED DAY! And free apples!

Join us and make a life-saving fashion statement by wearing Red! Take a picture…it will last longer!

Friday, Feb. 1, is National Wear Red Day – a public awareness day calling for us to wear red to bring attention to the #1 killer in women, heart disease and stroke. Red is power, and energy, passion and love. (Did we mention it’s American Heart Month, and of course a day of love, Valentine’s Day, is celebrated too). Let’s show how much heart Providence has by kicking off Heart Month in style on day 1! Together, let’s express our passion to educate and support women to reduce risk and help each other live our best healthiest lives.

PHOTO CONTEST: On February 1, WEAR RED, take a selfie or group picture and post to FB: WelcomeToBasecampOR. And add the hashtags! Every pic will be entered into a raffle drawing and prizes will be awarded for largest group, most creative red assembles, and overall “It’s just so good. We heart it!” Pictures may also be emailed to Basecamp@providence.org.
