Thank you for your interest in our AED Donation Program!

Automated external defibrillators (AED’s) are an important part of any cardiac safety plan to reduce the impact of sudden cardiac arrest. Our goal is to provide free AED’s and training on proper use and maintenance to schools and community organizations throughout Oregon and SW Washington.

Since this initiative began in 2017, we have awarded numerous groups and organizations with AED’s through help from our generous partnerships, community donations as well as Providence Health & Services ministries and programs.

Special thanks to our partners: Providence Sports Medicine and the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns ‘Saves for Lives’ in-game promotions, Providence Bridge Pedal (2017, 2018 & 2019), Providence Heart to Start in partnership with RAM Races, as well as the Providence Heart Institute and Basecamp Prevention + Wellness community fundraising efforts.

How can you help? We have multiple ways to raise funds, including your donation today to our Healthy Communities Fund.

We are currently accepting applications for our 2019 Quarter 3 AED distribution. Apply today and let’s save lives together!

Our mission is to make AED’s more widely available to reduce the danger of sudden cardiac arrest. AED’s are an important part of any cardiac safety plan, which also includes learning CPR and getting age-appropriate heart screenings.
