Thank you for your interest in our AED Donation Program!

Automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are an important part of any cardiac safety plan to reduce the impact of sudden cardiac arrest. Our goal is to provide free AEDs and training on proper use and maintenance to non-profit community organizations throughout Oregon and SW Washington.

Since this initiative began in 2017, we have awarded more than 120 AEDs to numerous groups and organizations through help from our generous partnerships, community donations, as well as Providence Health & Services ministries and programs.

Applications can be submitted at any time. We review and award on a quarterly basis and as funding allows. Apply today and let’s save lives together!

How can you help? We have multiple ways to raise funds, including your donation today to our Providence Heart Institute Fund. Please select “heart” from the “I would like to support” drop down menu; add a note “AED donation program” if possible.

Special thanks to our partners who’ve helped fund this program over the years: Providence Sports Medicine and the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns ‘Saves for Lives’ in-game promotions, Providence Bridge Pedal beneficiary program, Providence Heart to Start race day charitable donations, as well as the Providence Heart Institute and Basecamp Prevention + Wellness community fundraising efforts.
